This is a Special Order item. Make measurements by inserting the stainless steal probe in the food and pressing the button. In fifteen seconds the temperature is announced in a loud female voice. Has a -55 to 257 degree Fahrenheit measurement range and it is accurate to within one degree. The unit operates on a 9-volt battery (not included)
