A small, easy to use, accurate and affordable talking kitchen scale that can be used by anyone who wants to weigh food in either grams or ounces. You turn it on, and after it speaks "Hello" and "I'm ready", you can place the food on the stainless steel platform or in the plastic bowl. A pleasant female voice announces the grams or ounces. There is a tare function if you want the wieght of the food excluding the bowl. The Talking Kitchen Scale has a 6 lb 10 oz or 3,000 grams weight capacity.

An easily replaceable 9-volt battery is included. The scale platform measures 9 x 6 x 1 inches.
