About Security
Providing you access to the products you need in a safe environment is our top priority. The SightConnection shopping cart and order form are SECURE pages thanks to our partnership with Yahoo!Store, which provides an extensive security system using industry-standard SSL encryption to protect our customers from credit card abuse. Yahoo's system scrambles information both on the way from you to the Yahoo server and from the Yahoo server to us.

We did a lot of research before choosing Yahoo!Store as the best expert resource for our store and our customers. Yahoo!Store is a widely trusted e-commerce partner used by a diverse group of leading retailers.

Please note that our product and information pages do not require any information from you so those pages are not secure. When you click between secure and non-secure pages, the browser will deliver a warning message notifying you of the switch between the two. This simply alerts you that you are moving between secure and non-secure pages.

About Ordering
To place an order, simply click on the ADD TO MY SHOPPING CART button on the product page to automatically put an item in your shopping cart. After you have selected all the items you want, click the VIEW YOUR SHOPPING CART button in the left-hand navigation bar to review your selection. You can remove items at this time. You can also keep shopping for more items.

When you have finalized your selection, go to VIEW YOUR SHOPPING CART and click the PLACE ORDER button to proceed to the order form where you provide your name, address and payment details. Remember: These are SECURE pages; your information is safe and will not be shared with any other organization. If you return to shopping, you will then be moving back to non-secure pages since these are pages that do not require information from you. Most browsers will flag this transition. Again, your information remains safe. Yahoo!Store guarantees it!

About Tax and Shipping
For Washington state residents, sales tax will be added to your credit card total. Note that shipping is taxable and will be calculated as part of the taxable amount.

Orders for products that are in stock are usually shipped within two to three business days. We ship via UPS Ground. Once en route, UPS Ground routinely takes 3-10 business days. Note that we ship from Seattle, Washington.

We also ship UPS Express for an additional fee. You can view the options at checkout.

Please remember that we ONLY process outgoing orders Monday-Friday. Orders placed after 3 p.m. (PST) will be processed on the next business day. Orders placed after 3 p.m. on Friday, or during the weekend, or a recognized U.S. holiday, will be processed on the next business day.

If certain items are not available to ship with your order, we will let you know. Your credit card will ONLY be charged for the amount of your order that we were able to fulfill. Once we receive the backordered item(s), we will charge your card accordingly, unless you have requested a refund or canceled the back ordered portion of your order.

Please be sure that if the products you have ordered are being shipped to a commercial address, you choose the UPS Ground Business Delivery option under Shipping. Indicating a commercial address does NOT incur additional charges.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship FREE MATTER FOR THE BLIND due to concerns with product tracking and insurance. We also do not ship internationally.

About Payment
For quickest processing, place your order online using a Mastercard or Visa, or call us to place the order.

We accept checks, but do not fill orders until the check has been received. Make checks payable to SightConnection and mail orders to 9709 Third Ave. NE, #100, Seattle, WA 98115-2027.

To use a Purchase Order number, your organization must first apply for a credit account with SightConnection and be approved. Call SightConnection for an application.

All items are priced in U.S. dollars and all payments must be in U.S. dollars.



NOTE: The only international orders we accept are from Canada. For all orders, we accept Visa, Mastercard or money orders (in US Dollars) made payable to SightConnection. Mail money orders with order to 9709 Third Ave. NE, #100, Seattle, WA 98115-2027. Orders will not be processed until payment is received.

About Returns
Please read carefully. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in carefully following these directions. Thank you.

Returns
Refunds and exchanges will be accepted within 30 days of the purchase date under the following conditions: Products cannot appear worn or used, must be in original, resaleable condition, and accompanied by original packaging, warranties, instructions and sales receipt.

No returns or exchanges will be accepted without sales receipt.

Before returning any item, call (800)458-4888 to obtain a RETURN AUTHORIZATION (RA) number.

Returns without original packaging and instructions will only be refunded at 80% of purchase price.

No refunds on shipping charges.

No returns on clearance items.

Refunds on special orders will be charged a $20.00 restocking fee.

Personal and hygienic items are not returnable as is noted on the product description and packing.

Please be sure to carefully pack items for return to protect them during shipping.

Defective Merchandise
Defective merchandise may be returned for an exchange or refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Same restrictions apply as noted above.

Return shipping is free on exchanges or defective merchandise only. Please call (800)458-4888 to obtain return shipping instuctions.


Warranties
Some manufacturers provide warranties on items: please check at the time of purchase and keep all warranties and owner's manuals. If an item becomes defective after 30 days of purchase, refer to the warranty information for proper procedures. SightConnection is not responsible for items after 30 days of purchase, unless the receipt indicates the warranty is administered through SightConnection. SightConnection does not provide repair services, but may be able to send items to the manufacturer for repair for an additional handling fee plus shipping. Call for more details.
