Using a white cane safely and effectively requires one-on-one training with a mobility specialist. Without proper training, a cane can be misused and dangerous both to the user and those around the user. For this reason, we do not sell white folding or rigid canes to customers who have never used one. SightConnection staff can provide this training by appointment, or refer you to an agency in your area that provides this training.
